How It Works: The Prepare Enrich Framework
At Destination Therapy in Houston, we use the Prepare Enrich framework for strengthening relationships. Using this framework:
- You and your partner will both take an online assessment that was developed by relationship experts. The results of this will show your relationships’ strengths, growth areas, and potential challenges.
- During sessions with your premarital counselor, you’ll have a chance to review the findings and learn new skills. You may learn new communication techniques, conflict resolution skills, and other relationship-enhancing skills. Every major aspect of a healthy relationship will be covered, from sex and intimacy to finances and parenting.
- Towards the end of your premarital counseling, you’ll set goals for your relationship with your therapist. When the time comes, you can choose to leave therapy.
Don’t worry though. If a speed bump comes up at any point in your relationship, you now have a relationship therapist you’re familiar with. At Destination Therapy, we prioritize past clients so you can stay on track in your relationship.
