Cancellation policy

Destination Therapy encourages clients to maintain an open dialogue with their clinician about their ability to maintain regularly scheduled appointments.

In the event that a scheduled appointment time is missed or cancelled less than 24 hours in advance, clients will be charged the full session rate as the fee.

There is a grace period of 15 minutes provided for when clients are running late to session, after this grace period you will be charged the full session rate as the fee.

Insurance coverage

Destination Therapy does not accept health insurance outright.

However, you may contact your health insurance company to determine whether reimbursement for services can be granted for an out-of-network provider. Upon engaging in services, a card will be placed on file in the secure client portal and charged at the time of service.

Out-of-network health insurance benefits:
Many of our clients are able to receive some reimbursement from their insurance provider if they have out-of-network benefits. If you plan to file for out-of-network reimbursement, let us know so that your therapist can provide you with a superbill.
